There are a total of 400 public universities and they don\u2019t charge tuition fees. There are about 120 private universities and they are expensive when compared to public universities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Higher education institutions are divided into three broad categories:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Technische Hochschule (Technical advanced education schools): This advanced education schools teach subjects, for example, science, building, and innovation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Fachhochschulen (Universities of applied sciences): These foundations offer courses that emphasize on pragmatic preparing associated with business, structure, financial aspects, and the social sciences.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Kunsthochschulen (Colleges of craftsmanship and music): These universities offer creative education, for example, music, expressive arts, style planning, and film-production.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Qualifications Offered<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Below are the levels and qualifications offered in Germany:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><u>Bachelor\u2019s Degree<\/u><\/strong>: Bachelor\u2019s Degree is the first higher educational qualification in Germany. The standard period for the completion of Bachelor\u2019s Degree is 3-4 years. Students have a big list of subjects to choose from what they are interested in. The subjects they choose should also match their level of qualification with the skill set they have.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><u>Master\u2019s Degree<\/u><\/strong>: Once students are done with their bachelor\u2019s degree, they can choose a specialized master\u2019s degree in their field of interest in order to upgrade their skillset. It takes about 3-4 semesters to complete a Master&#8217;s degree in Germany.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><u>PhD Degree<\/u><\/strong>: Students also have the option of PhD degrees.
