Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT) is one of the most accepted entrance exams worldwide for MBA admissions. It is conducted by the Graduate Management Admission Council. GMAT is a computer-adaptive test that assesses analytical writing, quantitative, verbal, and reading skills in standard written English. The exam duration is 3 hours and 30 minutes including test instructions and breaks. There are two optional eight minute breaks during the exam that a candidate can avail.
The cost of the GMAT Exam is US $275 (approx. INR 20,600). You can register for GMAT online or through phone. If you have to reschedule the exam 1 to 14 days before the test date, you will be required to pay US$150. Further, if you reschedule the exam 15 to 60 days prior to the test date, then you will be required to pay US$100. If you reschedule the exam more than 60 days before the test date then you will be required to pay US$50.
TEST MODES
GMAT is a computer-based exam conducted online as well as at registered test centers across India. Students are allowed to attempt for GMAT 5 times in a rolling 12 month period and maximum 8 times in a lifetime.

TEST SCORES AND VALIDITY
Test score ranges between 200 – 800. Median score is 548. A score above 650 increases your probability of admission to a good institute. GMAT scores are valid for 5 years.
